try to get me to speak or interact with you even if I clearly don't want to or can't / repeatedly ask me why I do not speak at times (I'm getting evaluated for ASD, chill) /think that the phrases "asperger's syndrome" and functioning labels are still acceptable terms for autism (they aren't appropriate because they originated from a man named Hans Aperger who was a physicist, but also a Nazi and practiced eugenics/ think donald trump was actually a good president lol/ refer to covid-19 as the "china disease" or something similar/ only support Ukrainians and not also Russians during the Russio-Ukrainian crisis (hopefully you do realize ukrainians are not the only people suffering the consequences of the war here and that Russia as a whole is not the problem, Putin is) / criticise me for my poor hygiene / fake disorders for any reason
Things that will mildly trigger or upset me
saying my full name -(sometimes) I usually get anxious when I hear my name being called because I tend to associate it with being in trouble and I'm not going to explain why. it's not anything to be concerned about anyway. I prefer being called Jay, but it's completely fine if someone calls me by my full name, just know I most likely will cringe when I hear it.something along the lines of "a closed mouth don't get fed" - this is mildly infuriating because it's basically ableist and I absolutely hate when this phrase or something else similar to it gets brought up. I'm tired of abled and neurotypical people telling the disabled to do things that they cannot do. In my opinion, "an open mouth can get food stuffed into it until the user chokes".the name "christina"- if you're close friends with me, you will probably either be able to figure this one out, or I've already told you who this is. I'm obviously not going to go into detail, but this person has f'ed me over a ton ever since I've lived with them and moved away from them.sudden changes in rules, routines, or environment- I hate hate hate this. Really prefer being aware of major changes ahead of time to being thrown right into the pool and a "sink or swim" situation.
